In this unit, the task is to create a series of 9 print advertisements and 1 video for an Instagram campaign, taking an existing discount/budget brand and making it cool.
Out of 10 brands I was assigned Poundland. Currently, the company has very little advertising material, with their first television advert airing only last year. Their posters are basic and their website looks cheap, however they have millions of customers per day so money does not need to be spent on advertising.
My challenge is to portray the brand in a fresh new way, reinventing their image and improving their reputation.
