Workshop 2 – A Sheep, a Lettuce and a Wolf

We were given the task of solving this riddle: A wolf, a sheep, and a cabbage need to cross the river. How can you bring them across, one by one, without the sheep eating the cabbage, nor the wolf eating the sheep?

This is my diagram to demonstrate how I would solve it:



Upon reflection, many of us had the same formula even though there were several different methods of demonstrating our solutions. However, this exercise was to test our thinking when it comes to a brief- are we used to just settling for answering the question? These examples below show different takes on the same riddle, that go beyond simply solving it, and making something different to everyone else.

This is the approach we should take in order to achieve the best results in this industry, and to impress.
